Now, in asurprise tweet announcement, the game’s publisher Beamdog is portingSiege of Dragonspearto Android. The game will hit theGoogle Play Storethis coming Thursday, March 8. The game itself will involve at least 30-hours of gameplay and work as a standalone experience.

SinceBaldur’s GateandBaldur’s Gate IIwere both previously ported to Android, you will now be able to experience the full saga right on your Android device. No price information is known forSiege of Dragonspearyet, but since both previous games are listed at $9.99, it’s a relatively safe assumption that this new release will be priced in the same range.

Keep in mind that this is an Android port of a two-year-old computer game, so you shouldn’t expect any upgrades in the graphics department. However, if you have a phone with less-than-stellar specs, it hopefully will be able to handle the game, which is a nice trade-off.

Otherwise, it appears all the details from the PC version of the game are intact: the spirit-calling shaman calls, an enhanced difficulty setting, and cross-platform support.
