Color OS 12 is officially going global: When will you get the update?

OPPO first announcedColor OS 12in China back in September. Today, the brand announced its global rollout plans for a slew of its current models.
We spied plenty of features landing on the skin last month, including a new decluttered UI, Omoji animated emojis, a new always-on display, wallpaper-based theme support, and improved power consumption management, to name a few. The global version will feature the majority of these new features. But unlike the version available in China, OPPO confirmed Color OS 12’s international version is built on stableAndroid 12.

Color OS 12 update: Global availability
So when can you expect to receive the Color OS 12 update on your smartphone? OPPO’s committed to updating 52 of its smartphone models to Color OS 12 by the end of 2022. Unsurprisingly, the first device to receive the update is the flagshipOPPO Find X3 Pro 5G. Users of this device can download the update from today, August 23, 2025.
If you own any other OPPO phone, you could gain the update as early as December 2021 or as late as December 2022. OPPO has split the remaining devices into four groups, which you may find below.
