Dell Venue 8 7000 tablet prices slashed by $200

Early last year,Dellbegan selling its range of high-endVenue 8 7000tablets, but despite boasting some very unique features, they were on the more expensive side of the market. That is not the case right now though, as Dell has lopped a huge $200 off the cost of its 16GB and 32GB models.
The tablet has a number of features working in its favour, including a very nice looking 8.4-inch OLED display with a crisp 2560×1600 resolution. The handset is powered by an Intel Atom Z3580 processor with a PowerVR G6430 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and a large 5,900mAh battery.
The processor isn’t the only Intel technology inside though. The tablet also boasts Intel RealSense cameras on the back, making it a very unique model. RealSense features an 8 megapixel rear camera and two accompanying camera sensors to interpret depth information for adjustable focus and to track human motion. The tablet also boasts a very slim case with minimal bezels, which prevents the tablet from feeling at all bulky.
The 16GB version used to cost $399 but can now be bought for half its usual price at just $199. The same discount has been applied to the 32GB storage model too, dropping its price from $449 to $249. You can also grab a wireless keyboard and case bundle from Dell’s official website for just $50 extra.
If you don’t fancy picking up your tablet from Dell, Amazon is also selling both the16GBand32GB modelsat the same discounted prices, and other retailers should follow suit shortly.
