June 10, 2025

WhenSamsunglaunched theSamsung Galaxy Note 9at the beginning of August, it announced the device would come in four colors: Ocean Blue, Midnight Black, Lavender Purple, and Metallic Copper. However, it looks like there will be a fifth color available soon: silver.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 silver option is likely to be exclusive to customers in the United States, at least at first. Thecolors available in the U.S.are currently limited to Ocean Blue and Lavender Purple, so a third option will certainly be nice.

As you may see from the image, theS Penthat comes with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 silver model is a matching color, unlike the Ocean Blue variant which comes with a yellow S Pen. You’ll also notice that the silver color is very similar to theArctic Silver editionof theSamsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. However, we don’t know if Samsung will call this Arctic Silver or something else.

We can only assume that the silver edition of the Galaxy Note 9 will be available in both the 128GB and 512GB variants, but it’s possible Samsung will only make the color available for one of them. We will have to wait until Samsung makes an official announcement about the new option.

What do you think? Does this new color pique your interest, or are you still unwilling to shell out over $1,000 on the Note 9, regardless of the color? Let us know in the comments!
