June 10, 2025

You might not getAndroid 11on your Samsung phone as quickly as you’d like. AsTizenHelpreports (viaAndroid Central), Samsung has delayed theOne UI 3.0beta for theGalaxy S10series,Galaxy Note 10family,Galaxy Z Flip, andGalaxy Z Fold 2.

A Samsung operation manager asked users to “wait a little” after the company encountered problems with the Android 11 release on the Galaxy Note 10 in alimited South Korean test. It didn’t outline what those problems were, but Samsung Community members have complained of severe battery drain and app crashes.

The company didn’t say when it expected to provide the Android 11 beta to the Galaxy S10 and other affected models. We’ve asked Samsung for comment. While the fixed version could arrive quickly, a significant delay could affect the finished version’s availability on affected phones.

One UI 3.0 brings a host of small but tangible improvements, including for the lock screen, web browser and camera performance. Some features stem directly from Android 11, such as a section for conversations when you expand the notification shade.

Not every phone expected to get the new software will necessarily see the beta.ACnoted that Samsung still hasn’t mentioned a One UI 3.0 beta for theGalaxy S20 FE, and there’s a chance you might not see one. Still, it’s not entirely reassuring that people with 2019-era flagship phones (or 2020 foldables) might get their first taste of Android 11 later than many of their peers.
