Google Pixel 3a set for India launch on May 8, Night Sight camera mode teased

Google has all-but-confirmed that the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will launch on May 7 during the first day ofGoogle I/O 2019. Now, Indian e-tailerFlipkartis hinting that the two long-rumored Pixel “Lite” phones will debut in the region a day later on May 8.
A teaser surfaced today on Flipkart’s website, accompanied by the same “help is on the way” tagline we’ve beenseeing on the Google Storefor a few weeks now.

This new arrival in the “Pixel universe,” is almost certainly a reference to the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL — a new affordable duo of Pixel phones that reportedly packs the same stellar camera as the regularPixel 3series.
Flipkart’s countdown page isn’t the only Pixel-related hint, as another teaser (viaFoneArena), carries the Google logo alongside the line “Losing sight after twilight.” This suggests the Pixel 3’scelebrated Night Sight camera modewill come to the 3a series for low light photos.
