Google Pixel 4a video leak doesn’t leave much for Google to announce
July 04, 2025
We’ve seen apparentGoogle Pixel 4aimages leak onlineearlier this week, and it now looks like we’ve got a ton more information thanks to a new video.
The video, byTecnoLike Plus(h/t:9to5Google), shows what seems to be the Pixel 4a. And its design largely matches up to leaks seen this week and fromOnLeakslate last year.

That means a punch-hole in the left corner, a3.5mm headphone portat the top, a square rear camera housing featuring a single shooter in the lower right, and a rear fingerprint scanner.
But the video also delivers some key system specs courtesy of the AIDA64 app. The app lists the Sunfish model name (previously reported byXDA),Snapdragon 730chipset, Adreno 618 GPU, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 5.81-inch 2,340 x 1,080 display with a 60Hz refresh rate.

Other noteworthy details spotted in the video include a 3,080mAh battery and dual-SIM support. The former isn’t exactly big for a budget phone in 2020, especially when the likes ofXiaomi,Huawei, andSamsungare now offering 4,000mAh+ batteries in many devices. But it’s still bigger than the standardPixel 4battery.
It seems pretty convincing, but there is one detail that has us questioning this leak. In addition to listing the Snapdragon 730 as a chipset, it also lists the chipset as SM6150. The Snapdragon 730’s model number is actually SM7150, while SM6150 corresponds to theSnapdragon 675. This could be chalked up to the early nature of the phone’s firmware, or perhaps an oversight as part of an otherwise elaborate fake clip.
However, Cuba-basedTecnoLike Plusreports that the Pixel 4a was sold to a person living in Cuba by someone who sells devices “as a private business on the island.” Furthermore, the phone owner told the outlet that the seller didn’t know what phone it was. So it definitely seems like someone got their hands on an unannounced phone at this point.
