Here’s our first 360-degree look at the Sony Xperia XZ4 and its triple rear camera
July 08, 2025
Frequent smartphone leaker@OnLeaksjust posted some renders based on CAD files of an upcoming Sony flagship smartphone, very likely to be called the Sony Xperia XZ4 (viaMySmartPrice). The rendered photos and video give us a full, 360-degree look at the as-yet-unannounced smartphone.
TheSony Xperia XZ3only launched at the end of August this year, and theSony Xperia XZ2only launched at the end of February. It appearsSonyis going to try to release a new XZ model once every six months or so, with this Xperia XZ4 likely launching at Mobile World Congress in February 2019.

From the renders, the Xperia XZ4 appears to look very similar to the Xperia XZ3, albeit with two major differences. The first difference is that instead of a single camera sensor on the rear, the XZ4 appears to pack three camera sensors. We don’t know any specs for those sensors, but it likely will mean the XZ4 will take some pretty great photos.
The second difference is the lack of a rear fingerprint sensor. We expect the sensor to instead be side-mounted, possibly on the power button. It is, of course, possible that Sony will use an in-display fingerprint sensor to keep up with companies likeOnePlusandSamsung, but the renders suggest a side-mounted deal.

Check out the rendered images below and also the 360-degree YouTube video:
As far as physical dimensions go, the Sony Xperia XZ4 will measure 166.9 x 72.4 x 8.2mm, at least according to these renders. That makes it slightly taller and slightly thinner than the Xperia XZ3.

What do you think? Does the Sony Xperia XZ4 look like more of the same from Sony, or are you excited for this new device to launch? Let us know what you think in the comments!
