How to remove (or add) the Google Stadia controller prompt on Chromecast Ultra

A recent update made anyChromecast Ultracompatible withGoogle Stadia, which is great news for Stadia fans looking to play on a second screen, but not such good news for everyone else. This is because it adds a prompt to the Chromecast Ultra ambient screen to pair a Stadia controller, partially covering the images it displays.

Even if you do have Stadia, you might still want to remove the Stadia Controller prompt because once you pair your controller there’s no need to ever pair it again. to gain back that screen real estate, you’ll need to fiddle with a few settings on the Chromecast Ultra itself.
