It looks like Galaxy S10 will miss MWC, launch in San Francisco, London instead
July 16, 2025
Samsungwill apparently launch itsGalaxy S10series of smartphones on February 20 in San Francisco and London.
The news comes viaThe Wall Street Journal, citing “people familiar with the matter.” If the speculation is accurate, it means Samsung won’t be launching its 2019 flagships in Barcelona as part ofMobile World Congressfestivities.

It wouldn’t be the first time the Korean manufacturer skipped MWC for its flagship S series, having done so for theGalaxy S8family. Nevertheless, the firm’s most recent MWC launches include last year’sGalaxy S9and 2016’sGalaxy S7.
Previous rumorssuggest that we’ll see at least three Galaxy S10 variants at launch, namely a Lite model, standard version, and Plus device. The outlet says a5Gmodel is also in the works, but it’s tipped to land “later in the spring.”
The Wall Street Journal‘s sources add that Samsung will use the February 20 event to show off itsfoldable phone. The company first revealed the device at its developer conference in November, but the brand took several measures to hide the phone’s full design. We assume Samsung is now ready to show off the final design and other details.
All eyes will be on the company for this event, especially after it suffered a somewhat bruising 2018. WithHuaweion the rise and adeclining smartphone market, Samsung is under pressure to deliver.
