June 08, 2025
Today, Lenovo has taken the wraps off a new smartphone in India. Called the K8 Plus, it’s equipped with a 5.2-inch Full HD display and powered by the MediaTek Helio P25 chipset. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and offers 32 GB of storage that you can expand for an additional 128 GB with a microSD card.
One of the biggest features of the device is its dual-camera setup on the back. It sports 13 and 5 MP sensors, allowing you to capture those bokeh images everyone seems to love so much these days. There’s also an 8 MP secondary camera on board with LED flash and a beauty mode to help you capture some great-looking selfies.

Considering its size, the device packs quite a large battery. It has a capacity of 4,000 mAh that’s good for two days of use or up to 20 hours of video playback, the company claims. Lenovo’s latest handset also comes with Dolby Atmos audio enhancements and features a dedicated Music Key on the side, which you can remap to open an application of your choice.
Other features worth mentioning are the fingerprint scanner located on the back, a metal body, dual-SIM support, and a stock version ofAndroid 7.1.1 Nougat. In case you’ve missed it, Lenovoannounced last monththat it’s ditching its Vibe UI skin and will ship all of its upcoming devices with a pure version of Google’s OS. The company also guarantees that the smartphone will get upgraded toAndroid Oreo, although it did not mention when exactly will this happen.

In addition to the K8 Plus, Lenovo has also announced the K8 smartphone, which will be available at large retailers across the country “soon”. It’s quite similar to the Plus model in terms of specs but offers a display with a lower resolution (HD), is powered by the Helio P20 chipset, and has a single 13 MP primary camera.
We’ll let you know more regarding its price and availability once Lenovo shares more info on this topic.
