Nokia closeda deal to acquire Withingsback at the end of May 2016, at a cost of $170 million. As part of the deal, 200 employees switched over to working on “digital health” products for the Finnish company, with the move aiming to propel the brand up to the top of the smart fitness market.

As for the new products, there’s the new Nokia Body scale, which is a cutdown version of the Withings Body, which has been renamed to the Body+. The scales cost $59.95 and comes sans some of the Body+ model’s features, but still offers up weight and BMI information and links up wirelessly to the company’s fitness app. The second product is the BPM+, a premium version of the Withings blood-pressure monitor, which is priced at $129.95 and offers a wireless connection and softer cuff.

A number of other Withings products have also been rebranded, including the Go activity tracker, Home air quality monitor, and the smart Thermo thermometer. The transition isn’t entirely complete yet though. The impressive Steel HR will be rolled into Nokia’s portfolio sometime this fall, and some other products are being retired.
