The leaker further reveals that the software of the second-generation OPPO Watch is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It won’t run Wear OS in China, but the international model might get Google’s software just like its predecessor. It’s unclear if the device will get therevamped version of Wear OSthat Google is developing with Samsung or if it’ll stick to the software in its existing state.
Elsewhere, the OPPO Watch 2 is expected to have seven models divided into 42mm and 46mm sizes. It could come with 16GB of storage, up from 8GB on the current model. The device is also tipped to support eSIM connectivity. Some expected features include stress detection, remote camera control, a tweaked UI, and a new Relax app. However, these findings only pertain to the Chinese model of the smartwatch.
