Samsung Galaxy S10 5G launches June in the UK (Update: pre-order now)

Update, July 11, 2025, 10:14 a.m. ET:Pre-orders are now open for the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G via Samsung’s online store. The 5G model from Samsung’s latest flagship phone series is priced at 1,099 pounds and is registered to either EE or Vodafone.
The Galaxy S10 5G comes in a single memory configuration with 256GB storage and 8GB of RAM. It is also available in two exclusive colors: Majestic Black and Crown Silver.

Original article, June 22, 2025, 03:01 a.m. ET:Even though theSamsung Galaxy Folddoesn’t yet have a re-release date, the company announced today that its upcomingGalaxy S10 5Ghas a much firmer launch in the U.K.
According toSamsung, pre-orders for its first 5G smartphone will kick off May 22 in the U.K. The phone then goes on sale June 7 through Samsung’s website, Samsung Experience Stores,EE, andVodafone. Samsung insinuated that the Galaxy S10 5G will eventually be available on other networks, though the company hasn’t confirmed any further availability.
Even though it’s exciting to see a flagship 5G smartphone launch in the U.K., there’s reason to temper expectations. Earlier in May,it was reportedthat Galaxy S10 5G owners in South Korea have struggled with poor 5G connectivity and an inability to switch to 4G LTE. Samsung pushed out an update that promised to iron out the aforementioned issues, only for the issues to still stick around.
It’s been a blame game ever since, with Samsung and carriers accusing each other of the issues. Let’s hope that a similar scenario doesn’t play out in the U.K. once the Galaxy S10 5G launches.
