Sony first announced it would begin rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat to the Xperia Z3+ and Z3+ Dualless than a week ago, and the Z4 Tabletfollowed soon after that. We’re hoping Sony can fix these issues soon, and we’ll let you know if we hear any updates.

Original post (1/20):Sony might have halted itsAndroid Nougatrollout for theXperia Z5, according to a report fromXperia Blog. The rollout beganearlier this week, however it’s reportedly now unavailable on devices where it previously appeared. Further,Xperia Blogsays the software isn’t on Sony’s servers, as it should be.

Sony may have pulled the update after learning of a potentially harmful bug or critical issue with the software. Manufacturers typically roll out updates on a small scale to begin with in order to test reliability, before deploying it on all handsets. That said, Sony has successfully rolled out the software to a number of other devices already, which means critical issues with it are unlikely.

Given Sony hasn’t made an announcement, we can only speculate, but it could simply be a mistake or malfunction.
