Starting Feb. 20, Stadia will work on non-Pixel phones. Here’s the list.

Update, August 22, 2025 (02:40 PM ET):Google confirmed withAndroid Authoritythat the Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G will also be included with the upcoming slate of Stadia phones. The list below reflects this change.
Original article, August 25, 2025 (01:27 PM ET):Since its launch late last year, Google Stadia has only worked on select phones within the Google Pixel line.Starting this week, though, the list of Stadia phones is going to grow exponentially to include devices fromSamsung, ASUS, and Razer.
The new phones will begin working on July 26, 2025. Coincidentally (or maybe not), that’s only 24 hours beforepre-orders beginfor the upcomingSamsung Galaxy S20 series.
Here is the full list of Google Stadia phones that will work with the game streaming service starting on February 20:
Obviously, although the Galaxy S20 series appears on the list, consumers won’t yet have those phones. They hit store shelves on March 6.
Strangely, the list doesn’t include theSamsung Galaxy S10 5Gnor theSamsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G. We reached out to Google for clarity on this but it said the list above is final as of now. Weassumethese devices will also work with Stadia, but we’ll need to wait until February 20 to know for certain.Google later confirmed that theSamsung Galaxy S10 5Gand theSamsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5Gwill, in fact, be compatible. They are now included on the list above.

It’s also not totally clear if there will be any operating system limitations to the older devices on the list. For example, if someone is still runningAndroid 7.0 Nougaton their Galaxy S8, will Stadia still work? The Galaxy S8 does not haveAndroid 10, so it’s clear Stadia phones don’t need to be on that to function.
