This person just can’t stop getting caught using an alleged Google Pixel 3 XL
July 26, 2025
Only a few days ago, we posted some images ofa very well-manicured personusing what appears to be aGoogle Pixel 3 XLon a train in Toronto. Whoever this person is, they haven’t gotten the memo that they’re causing an internet firestorm.
I say that because we now have even more pictures of what appears to be the same person using the same device on a train, once again in Toronto, and once again viaMobile Syrup. Who is this person? How do they have a Google Pixel 3 XL? Why hasn’tGoogletold them to stop being so blatant in its usage?

Regardless, the new creeper shots show what we already know: the Google Pixel 3 XL will likely have a ginormous chin and an extrathiccthick notch at the top, as seen in the image above. It also appears to runWhatsAppreally well, considering that’s all this person seems to do on the train.
In the batch of new images, we do get a pretty good look at the back of the device. Our lone train-rider stopped chatting on WhatsApp for a few seconds and set the phone down on their very nice Samsonite backpack.

The back of the device shows a single camera lens, which we expected. It also shows a similar two-tone design to the previous Pixel phones with the top being smooth black glass and the bottom likely being frosted glass. you may also make out some sort of barcode sticker that probably signifies its prototype status.
You can’t see the rear fingerprint sensor though, nor can you see the Google “G” logo that will likely be at the bottom.

Interestingly, the previous batch of photosof this train rider showed the device in a protective case, whereas now the phone is naked. I don’t know about you, but this whole thing seems very fishy; it’s almost like this train rider knows they’re being photographed and wanted to give the photographer a better look at the phone.
All the leaks we’ve seen surrounding the Pixel 3 XL have had me scratching my head, especially when it comes tothe purported specs of the device. A leak is a leak and should be taken with a grain of salt, but I’m taking some of these leaks with an extra large portion of sodium chloride.
