This week in Android: It’s all about the foldables

This week had one theme to it — foldable phones. We saw notone, buttwo folding phonescome out this week, andwe went hands-on with the world’s first foldable from Royole. AtSamsung’s developer conference, we saw its new infinity flex display. Google is on board too. At its own developer conference, Google announcedofficial support for “foldables”will be baked into Android going forward. 2019 looks to be the year of the foldable, becauseLG will likely throw its hat in the ring as well. Gimmick, or way of the future? You decide.
