Xiaomilaunched theRedmi 6 and Redmi 6Alast week, but the company’sMIUI Forumreveals two more devices are coming on June 25: the Redmi 6 Pro and Mi Pad 4 tablet.

A teaser image in the forum post suggests the Redmi 6 Pro will have a 19:9 display, energy-efficient Snapdragon 625 processor, and a 4,000mAh battery (compared to the Redmi 6/6A’s 3,000mAh battery). The combination of chipset and battery means you can definitely expect longer than average endurance. After all, the similarly equippedRedmi Note 4delivered two days of juice, we found in our review.

Xiaomi is also teasing AI functionality for the Redmi 6 Pro, refusing to get into details. We’re expecting the company to deliver AI-powered scene recognition for photography, as it’s done so with its recent phones (such as the Mi Mix 2).

We don’t know much else about the Pro model, but we do know Xiaomi is planning to launch the Mi Pad 4 tablet at the event as well…

A teaser for the Redmi 6 Pro.

The company didn’t reveal many Mi Pad 4 details, merely mentioning the presence of an 8-inch full HD screen and one-handed use in the teaser image (seen below). One-handed usage suggests it will have an ergonomic design, but it’s rare to see such a feature on a tablet.

We also get a glimpse of the back of the device, showing a solitary main camera and what could be antenna cutouts at the top.

XDA-Developersalso uncovered apparentMi Pad 4 specsearlier this year, noting a 6,000mAh battery, 18:9 display, and a Snapdragon 660 chipset. The processor is particularly noteworthy as it could mean Xiaomi uses Qualcomm power in its tablet series for the first time. The firm has previously used NVIDIA, Intel and MediaTek chips in its Mi Pads.

The reveal event is scheduled for Monday (June 25), so you won’t have to wait too long for more Redmi 6 Pro and Mi Pad 4 details. Would you buy another Android tablet though? What do you make of Xiaomi’s recent releases? Let us know in the comments section!
