You can now fit your Home Mini to a wall with this official $15 mount
July 23, 2025
If you’re one of theone-in-six Americansthat now own a smart speaker, you’ve likely already faced a tough decision: Where do you put the thing?
It’s all well and good welcoming a digital assistant into your home to help set alarms, check the weather, listen to music, or ask random questions, but it won’t work if you’re shouting commands at a speaker that’s a few rooms away.

This tricky conundrum is bad enough with regular smart speakers like the vanilla Amazon Echo orGoogle Home, but it’s even worse with smaller variants like theHome Mini.
Not only do you have to pick the perfect spot in your home, it’s also quite possible (I keep doing it) to forget that you even have a palm-sized smart speaker sat on a table or desk somewhere when it gets lost amid general household clutter.

Thankfully, Google has something of a solution – an official Home Mini wall mount made by Incipio. The $15 kit consists of a simple holder for the Home Mini itself and a couple of screws to secure the mount in place. Alternatively, you can use 3M tape (included) to stick the mount to any particular surface if you don’t fancy drilling a hole in your wall.

As well as improving the visibility of the Home Mini, Google says that the mount will help “free up precious counter and tabletop surfaces”. you may pick up a Home Mini mount at the Google Storehere.
It’s worth noting that you’ll still have to plug the Home Mini into mains power, though, so you’ll still be somewhat restricted when deciding on the perfect spot for your digital companion.
As well as the Home Mini mount, the folks over at9to5Googlealso spotted that the Nest Secure system has been added to the Google Store. The entire bundle costs $499, but you’re able to also pick up a Nest Tag, Detect, or Connect separately.
